Vegarredonda hut is placed on the western massif of Picos de Europa, inside Cangas de Onís council

Route from Covadonga Lakes

From Enol lake follow the track which leads to Vega de Enol and Mirador del Rey. When you reach a fork, turn left down to a parking area. You leave the car and start walking following the path which passes by a small meadow (Pozo del Alemán), crosses a bridge and reaches a group of sepherd´s cabins with a big boulder (Vega de la Piedra). The path continues over a flat meadow (Canraso) and reaches again a group of sepherd´s cabins (Rondiella). A final short climb leads to Collado Gamonal where you can already see the hut

The hole path is marked with stones driven into the ground. It will take you about one and a half hours. The hut is worth a visit just for the marvellows landscapes
